Thanks for the help, I will work on the termiology, I first had the bootable sd card and it worked great but wanted to flash a rom on the nook itself, not careing about the stock os. I searched and tried many methods and saw a lot of noobs like me having the same problems.
This is how I eventually got it to work so was just trying to help others out.
